Course Object

This course will provide information to the participants on the Illinois Sex Offender Registration Act (730 ILCS 150), the Illinois Murderer & Violent Offender against Youth Registration Act (730 ILCS 154), and all restrictions pertaining to child sex offenders and sexual predators in Illinois found in 720 ILCS 5/11-9.3 and 9.4-1. This course will provide valuable information regarding all laws pertaining to registrants in Illinois.  This training will benefit all law enforcement and criminal justice professionals who are involved with registrants in Illinois, including police, probation/parole, prosecutors, and administrators.

About the Instructor:

The instructor for this course is Tracie Newton who is a Sex Offender Registration Specialist with the Illinois State Police. Tracie continues to travel across Illinois to promote proper sex offender management.
